One Day At A Time Sonnet

One day at a time, the hours slow and steep,

Like quiet rivers drifting toward the sea.

Each dawn arrives, unclaimed, untouched by sleep,

A gift unwrapped, a page of mystery.

The past is sealed, no hand can shift its weight,

Its shadow fades as morning calls us near;

And future dreams, those seeds of distant fate,

Bloom not in worry, but in moments here.

So take today, as gentle as a breath,

And walk its winding path with tender care;

For in each step, we hold life’s birth and death,

In simple acts, a hope beyond compare.

Let’s keep our stride with humble hearts aligned,

One day at a time, in grace and peace combined.
